Treatment of Minors

Blue Mesa Medical requires parental consent for the treatment of any minor.  If your child is under the age of eighteen and will be seen without you present, please call the office to give verbal permission, or send a note with your child authorizing us to treat them.

There are times when a minor may be seen legally without parental consent.  These include, but may not be limited to, abuse, sexual concerns, drugs, etc.  We make every attempt to facilitate communication between parents and minors.  It is not our goal to keep secrets from parents, but at the same time, we provide a safe and trustworthy place for you child to receive medical care and education in regards to sensitive issues.
