Low Back Pain

Back pain is the number one complaint in North America, affecting 80% of us at one time or another. Back problems often mean a permanent loss of some function, forcing you to give up things in your life you may not want to give up. Until now, if you suffered from low back pain syndrome, methods of treatment have been: bed rest, muscle relaxants and pain medications, manipulation, and if all else failed, surgery. That's the bad news. The good news is the DRS (Decompression Reduction Stabilization) System is utilized by our office. No surgery. No incisions or injections. And for most people, no more back pain.

Following several years of clinical development by Neurosurgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons and Biomedical Engineers, the DRS System received FDA approval and became available for medical use in January 1998.

The DRS System
offers the most advanced technology available to physicians for non-surgical treatment of bulging or herniated discs, degenerative discs, posterior facet syndrome, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and many post surgical cases. Through clinical trials, the non-surgical decompression of lumbar discs with the DRS System has proven to be 86% effective in the relief of pain and disability resulting from disc injury and degeneration, by repairing damaged discs and reversing dystrophic changes in nerves.
