Sheila M. Fluetsch, PA-C

Sheila was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Services from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. After working as a clinic assistant for several years, Sheila returned to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse after which she worked as an office nurse with a family practice physician for nearly 10 years.

It was during this time she resolved to continue her education and become a Physician Assistant. After a three-year stay in Anchorage, Alaska working with the Tribal Health System, Sheila moved to Houston and was accepted to the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program.

Sheila was graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, with highest honor, in December 2006 and joined Blue Mesa Medical Associates in February 2007.

Sheila is an outdoor enthusiast, especially enjoying bicycling, hiking and fishing. Her special healthcare interests are women's health, patient education, and disease prevention.
